Kunyu Mansion: A Fusion of Regional Elements and Modern Style

The Kunyu Mansion, designed by ONE-CU Interior Design Lab, is a show flat that showcases a fusion of regional elements and modern style. This unique design aims to create a simplistic living space that combines luxury and comfort, while paying close attention to the quality of modern life.

The design of Kunyu Mansion is characterized by simple lines and geometric figures, creating a complex space that is both visually striking and functional. Visitors to the show flat can experience the femininity of urban white-collar ladies against the rational colors of North China. The design also takes into consideration the spatial requirements of male and female occupants, ensuring that each individual has their own dedicated space.

One of the standout features of Kunyu Mansion is the open guest dining room, which separates the Chinese and Western kitchens. This allows occupants to enjoy a high-quality daily life, with the ability to entertain guests and indulge in culinary delights from different cultures.

The materials used in the design include green marble, gray marble, hand-made bronzed stainless steel, wood veneer, and leather. These materials not only add a touch of luxury to the space but also contribute to its overall aesthetic appeal.

With an area of 200 square meters, Kunyu Mansion offers a spacious and comfortable living environment. The design team at ONE-CU Interior Design Lab has carefully considered every aspect of the space, ensuring that it meets the needs and desires of modern elites.

Natural ambience and modern space come together in Kunyu Mansion to create a lifestyle that modern elites aspire to. The design is influenced by humanistic aesthetics, creating a harmonious and inviting atmosphere. Different themed spaces within the show flat cater to various requirements, providing a truly personalized living experience.

The project started in April 2020 and was completed in July 2020 in Shenyang, China. Throughout the design process, the team at ONE-CU Interior Design Lab conducted extensive research to fuse regional elements with modern style, resulting in a simplistic living space that exudes luxury and comfort.

The design of Kunyu Mansion presented several challenges for the team. They had to find innovative ways to utilize different zones within a common space type, creating functional and surprising spaces. Additionally, incorporating regional cultural elements into the design while maintaining a high-quality modern living space required careful consideration and attention to detail.

Kunyu Mansion is a testament to the dedication and creativity of ONE-CU Interior Design Lab. By fusing regional elements with modern style, they have created a show flat that offers a unique and luxurious living experience. This design has been recognized for its excellence and was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award acknowledges designs that exhibit strong technical and creative skills, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
